- Ever wonder who is the [wo]man behind the curtain? I am a senior in college at unc-g, majoring in Interior Architecture. I come from a large family, two loving parents and four older brothers, I make five and yes I am the only girl. My New Orleans native family moved up to North Carolina the year before I was born, giving me a french name, which linked me to the 'Big Easy.' Mignon, my middle name is extremely important to me. Not only does my middle name signify my French heritage, but it also is an adjective to my fifth generation first name; Elise. Mignon, french meaning of small or petite, describes me as little Elise, because my mom is named Elise as well. Aside from the love of my unique and meaningful name, I tend to have a smile painted on just about 24/7 and am known to laugh at the drop of a hat. If you think yourself to be a struggling comedian, sit next to me, I'll boost your ego.
